Ethiopia Limu Senna Katta Mountain
Dry process
Heriloom varietals
Notes of:
fruit pastry, molasses, raspberries, chocolate
I roast this a little darker than some african coffees such as my Kenyans, but it really shines on all brew methods. It's hard to go wrong.
Drip brewers will highlight more of its sweetness, with notes of ripe berry, and molasses, with a tea-like finish.
Espresso reminds me more of raspberries and dark chocolate.
Senna Katta Mountain is the only farm, only about ~130 hectares, in the Boter national forest, in the Limu region. The coffee from Senna Katta Mountain farm is grown and processed at a very high elevation, and is known for its smooth, clean, and resonating cup profile.
